… or actually the LACK of money. As of late, gas prices, the stock market and the price of groceries have had more ups and downs than a zipper in a brothel. We have just bailed out a bunch of dirty banks with a $805 billion check and they’re still holding on to credit like a bride with a designer markdown at Filene’s Basement. Yet millions are wondering how long their families will last while waiting for the bail out to kick in and stimulate the economy.
Anyone struggling right now knows that every penny counts, which is why I started this blog. I’m not a financial adviser or guru. I’m just a wife and mother of two who is struggling with the ramifications of receiving her 2nd pink slip and a failing economy. I’ve seen enough news and Oprah episodes about families in debt, to know that there is no way that these issues aren’t affecting more than just a few. I hope some of the tips, tricks and shortcuts that my family use will help others during these crazy times.
